Cyanide by Ella Fields Book review & Tour

Title: Cyanide
Series: Surface Rust #1
Author: Ella Fields
Genre: Contemporary Romance Standalone
Release Date: August 24, 2017
Heartless. Conceited. Shallow.
Three simple words to describe me.
I had everything a girl could ask for, yet nothing I truly needed.
I'd made peace with who I was and the expectations set upon me long ago.
Only to have that peace shattered when a nameless hero rode into my world.
I wasn't allowed to have him.
Too bad I never cared much for the word no.
Because I'd soon learn the hard way that too much self-indulgence could result in incurable consequences.
He moves to unzip his fly, and I snap into action, stopping him. Biting my lip, I reach down between us and do it myself then tuck my hand inside his black boxer briefs. My eyes never leave his, so I catch every reaction my touch elicits. His nostrils and eyes both flare when my hand finds his velvety length. Rock hard with pre-cum resting at the tip. I swipe my thumb over it, and he visibly shivers. Grinning, I squeeze him gently and start to move my hand up and down, loving the way his breathing turns ragged until he stops me. “Shit, you gotta stop, or this will be over real quick.”

“Oh? What happened to all night?” I taunt.
He leans in to nip my bottom lip, and my panties grow even wetter. “Frost”—he tsks—“this is only round one.”
My breath hitches, but I try not to let any more surprise show and lift my thumb between us to my mouth, sucking his excitement from it and fluttering my lashes.
“Jesus fucking …” His mouth crashes into mine, rough hands tangle into my hair, and I hear the ting of my hair pins as they fall to the counter and floor.

Book review
5 stars

My first book by Ella Fields and it certainly wont be my last !! I had not read the previous book , Frayed Silk and I found this can be read as a standalone. But like most I am sure there is so much more to find out in book one so I shall be delving in !!

Cyanide is filled with lots of everything, a buffet of all sorts so to speak. Lots of serious hot chemistry between Jared and Vera, lots of laughs, tears and confusion. Family dramatics, and others trying to cause havoc within Vera and Jareds new found love.

Ella has delved deep inside her characters within the pages and given us raw emotion, one that you can feel within every page, every word and even within the cute dialogue .

Jared was a smooth talker ! His words has me grinning sheepishly many a time and loving his character . He was true within his ways, and he melted me more and more as the story unravels.

Vera is certainly not the usual whiny female we see in many romance stories, she is tough and takes no crap. She Comes across standoffish so to speak . Her character is not warming at first, but as times and words progress she is a character you cant help but love.

Vera and Jared's chemistry is like a molten volcano .. ** smoking hot ** His mouth alone and his words would melt the panties of any women ** grins ** From their very first encounter Jared had me hooked !! I could see each and every scene detailed so vividly as Ella penned her words ! I enjoyed this authors writing style, smooth flowing, an engaging plot and dialogue that was easily followed.

Both characters despite their inner turmoil let each other into those fragments no one else ever chipped at. Together they were vulnerable, weak but fit so perfectly. A love story that overcame many obstacles, many challenges, tears and heartache, it certainly was a tug of war of many occasions.

Ella crafted a love story filled with angst, happiness, and heartbreak and showed us that love is certainly not easy. Its real to life and nothing is ever perfect as much in love as someone is . it shows us that Opposites do attract and that no matter how much money one has, it cant buy happiness. Cyanide shows us that Happiness is just being with the one you love. ** home is where the heart is ** Even without the tinsel and glitter that money brings.

Cyanide is a tale of how love can beat anything , a tender and loving story of forgiveness , finding yourself and moving on . And With that added cute and witty Banter ,you will find yourself grinning and reading along until you turn that last page , smiling and sighing contently.
.

An unputdownable romance .
