Just A Little Junk - Stylo Fantome Release Blitz and Review

Title: Just a Little Junk
Author: Stylo Fantôme
Genre: Romantic Suspense/Comedy
Release Date: May 22, 2017

Jodi Morgan is having a bad weekend.

After partying a little too hard, she wakes up with a monster hangover and almost no recollection of the night before. So imagine her surprise when she looks in her trunk and instead of finding a spare tire, she finds the last guy she'd danced with before blacking out.

Who is he? How did he get in there? How did he die? And oh dear lord, did she kill him!?

When her older brother's best friend offers to help, things start looking up. They've known each other since she was thirteen, and ten years later, he still treats her like a little kid - surely, committing felonies has to trigger some sort of spark. Together, they wind up going on an adventure that takes them all over Los Angeles. From raves to penthouses to strip clubs. All in the search for the answer to her question.

Who is the dead guy in my trunk!?

Warning: This book contains some dark humor, a lot of witty banter, and two characters making more bad decisions than good ones. Also contains adult themes, language, and graphic sexual activity.

Author Bio

Crazy woman living in an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

Book review
3 1/2 stars

Received an arc 3 1/2 stars . Loved the connection between the two of the lead characters. Took a little for me to get into but after half way it was a great suspense and kept you second guessing. An enjoyable read :D overall.

Not my favorite book from this author. But did enjoy the overall story line. A little suspense, a lot of danger , sexual tension and some hot under the cover moments. The story line was fluent enough, did take me a bit to get into but was definitely interested enough to keep reading.

I enjoyed the friends to lover scenario, The sexual build up, the characters connection, but not necessarily the characters.

If you enjoy a friends to lovers romance, that will take you on a roller coaster ride you will enjoy this thrilling mystery filled read. A little more Junk in the boot then one would hope and a whole lot of drama to boot lol.

Plight by K M Golland Blitz, Giveaway & Review

Title: Plight
Author: K.M. Golland
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: May 29, 2017

Plight [plahyt]
Noun: a difficult, or otherwise unfortunate situation.
Verb: pledge or solemnly promise. Be engaged to be married.

I promised myself to a man. Well, technically, I promised myself to a boy. We were eight years old. Neighbours. He gave me a Cheezel, pushed it onto my finger, and asked me to marry him.
I ate the Cheezel.
I also said, “Yes” but that we’d have to wait until we were thirty.
It was my thirtieth birthday last week and now he’s calling in that promise.
Seriously, Elliot Parker is insane if he thinks that an out of the blue private Facebook message stipulating the binding law of an oral contractual agreement is going to seal our twenty-two-year bullshit engagement.
I wonder if he really does look like his profile picture, though.

Book review

Plight is a  cute contemporary romance about second chances , taking risks, loving and finding true love .

Plight will have you swooning , giggling and ooohhinhg right until you've turned that last page . I really enjoyed the banter, the funnies and the past recollections between the two.

The chemistry and love was slow burning just the way I like it, no rush to throw these two in bed or create an inferno in two seconds. I loved the way the author did this slow and steady building it as the pages flowed.

Well delivered characters , filled with depth and a
Great story line that will sate any romance lover .

An enjoyable plot from beginning to end.  Will never look at a cheezel again without remembering this story :D
