The Road To Ruin - Bronwyn Stuart book review

Paperback, 304 pages
Published December 1st 2014 by Harlequin MIRA
Review supplied by Publisher for honest review.
4 stars .
When the most desperate of times calls for the most scandalous of measures.

James Trelissick, Marquis of Lasterton, has but one plan: to get his sister and mother back from the notorious pirate who stole them from their ship bound for the Americas, without creating the scandal of the season. After months of fruitless searching, his family name and his sister’s reputation hang dangerously by a single thread. So, taking matters into his own hands, he kidnaps the one woman who must hold some of the answers: the daughter of the pirate captain.

Daniella Germaine’s only wish is to be reinstated to the decks of her father’s pirate ship. She will do whatever it takes to regain his attention after he decides she needs to be a real lady and ships her off to London to find a husband. With disgrace her last option, she tries everything she can think of to scandalise: riding at breakneck speed through the park to win a gentleman’s wager and swimming naked in the moonlight. It’s during another of these deeds of daring that her plans fall to pieces and her future lands in the hands of a man with not a lot left to lose…

Somewhere along the road to ruin, when lives are at stake and hearts are torn, Daniella and James must each decide between what they want, and what they actually need, to really live…

A feisty, sexy historical novel of daring, lust, and finding love in the most unlikely places.

The Road to Ruin is a must read Historical romance. With interesting and unique characters , the author has painted her settings and characters with life and spark.

A smooth flowing plot with intriguing characters and a wonderful setting, The Road to Ruin will be enjoyed by all who enjoy the historical setting and era that the book is set in.

Two unlikely characters embark on a not so planned journey and along the way many many unexpected turns become about.

I enjoyed the banter between the characters and at times I admit I had a laugh out loud moments with the sassy and smart whitted Daniella Germaine .

James Trelissick, Marquis of Lasterton, surely had his work cut out for his with this sassy woman. Trying not only to deny the chemistry between them and protect her as well it surely was a struggle of wills.

Daniella Germaine is sent to London to give up her pirate ways in order to become a lady and find herself a husband. But this is not what she is after. She causes many a scandal so she can get back to her father and his boat - but along the way James Trelissick has other plans.

James has his own background to his story - but the path that he must follows involves a sassy , hot headed woman and the return of something he had had stolen from him.

They both embark on a journey of discovery, passion and danger ..

A scandalous historical romance , filled with passion, danger , lust and intrigue. It will keep you captivated till the very last pages.

Book Three of the After series—now newly revised and expanded, Anna Todd’s After fanfiction racked up 1 billion reads online and captivated readers across the globe.

Experience the Internet’s most talked-about book for yourself!Tessa and Hardin’s love was complicated before. Now it’s more confusing than ever. AFTER WE FELL…Life will never be the same.

#HESSA Just as Tessa makes the biggest decision of her life, everything changes. Revelations about first her family, and then Hardin’s, throw everything they knew before in doubt and makes their hard-won future together more difficult to claim. Tessa’s life begins to come unglued. Nothing is what she thought it was. Not her friends. Not her family. The one person she should be able to rely on, Hardin, is furious when he discovers the massive secret she’s been keeping. And rather than being understanding, he turns to sabotage.

Tessa knows Hardin loves her and will do anything to protect her, but there’s a difference between loving someone and being able to have them in your life. This cycle of jealousy, unpredictable anger, and forgiveness is exhausting. She’s never felt so intensely for anyone, so exhilarated by someone’s kiss—but is the irrepressible heat between her and Hardin worth all the drama? Love used to be enough to hold them together. But if Tessa follows her heart now, will it be…the end? -

This series by Anna Todd will consume you at  every page. A smoothly delivered storyline , and at 834 pages long   I  know I am in for a roller coaster ride before I even open the first page.

The author knows how to weave her magic within the pages. The series is huge - the books massive in length but I find that nothing is over stepped, everything within the pages is relevant and wonderfully delivered.

After we Fell picks up where the last book After We collided ends. You are taken on a ride within this story, heartache, angst, love, growth and an anger that will leave you antsy.

The characters are still learning in there relationship, it seems to be a constant battle with secrets and jealousy .. Arguing, and it seems to be going in the same direction on repeat. But saying this they both are learning - in there own ways.

Certain parts can get frustrating - You have to wander if this pair will ever get where they want to be.

They sabotage the love and relationship by repeating past mistakes over and over.. Its like a viscous circle.

This does create interest for me -  the reader - as I can understand the frustration.  We see a darker side to Harden in this book. His anger makes him do things he certainly knows he shouldn't. His actions always have a consequence. * this will make sense when you have read the book *

Tessa seems to also be in a tizzy in this book - she made some really stupid decisions, I as a reader just shook my head over and thought WTF !!! It seems we think Harden is always to blame but in this book you really have to wander they both seem to be as bad as she each other lol.

KEEP READING ! I TOLD MYSELF even though I was pissed off at a certain part.

Even though this book is filled with angst ,hurt, heartache we also see a growth within the characters.
(Depth or course and definition into them.) Maturity and growth plays a strong part.

The love they share is evident - and in the end we do see Hardin make some choices which I found quiet profound. He always seems the weaker link in this relationship but ultimately his love and support take over .. He realizes what he must do to show the one person he loves the most.  Cliché I know.

I love the inner dialogue from Tessa - it gives us depth into her love for Harden and she really does try to understand him and love him even as damaged as he is. And she knows that it is her that he will only ever truly love. ** heart patters **

After We Fell  is my favourite so far  in the series to date.

I love Hardin's flirting and dirty lingo , his stupid comments and banter it always put a grin on my face and I am sure while reading I have that sheepish look on my face (haha. ) Despite the character he is you can't but fall in love with him - a damaged man finding his way around love. With his strong points and weak ones to boot.

Anna Todd weaves a delicious tale of love, filled with many moments that will leave you with your mouth agape.

She brings out every emotion possible within the story , from tears, to swoony drooly moments to anger where you silently curse the stupidity of the characters.

A roller coaster ride so to speak with a WTF ending that will leave you wanting more !!

    Heart-wrenching, romantic, and simply un-putdownable.

Thank you to Simon & Schuster Australia for providing me with this book for my honest review.

    Craved by an Alpha
Having turned his back on his snow leopard pride, Cavanaugh has been counting the days until he’s free of a role he never wanted—one that separated him from his fated female and stands between him and the future he craves with her.
Just days from the night he will finally be free to be with the low-ranking beauty who stole his heart, she walks back into his life and threatens to destroy everything he’s worked towards in the five long years they’ve been apart.
Eloise has travelled across continents searching for the male who was once her best friend and so much more to her, but was now her pride’s true alpha. Desperate to fulfil a promise to her kin to save them from the tyrant he left in charge, she convinces Cavanaugh to return to his pride, but as they journey to Bhutan, doubts bloom and old feelings resurface, tearing her between duty and her deepest desires and impossible dreams.
Will Eloise be able to resist the burning need that Cavanaugh reignites in her and remember her place in the pride? And can Cavanaugh find a way to save his kin and claim the future he craves with the woman he loves?
Craved by an Alpha is available from Amazon Kindle, Kobo Books, Barnes and Noble Nook, Apple iBooks stores and other retailers. Also available in paperback. Find the links to your preferred retailer at:

Cavanaugh checked his watch. The coloured lights above the bar of Underworld flashed across the glass face in time with the thumping music, but didn’t stop him from seeing what he wanted. It was gone midnight. Four years and three hundred and fifty seven days had passed. In eight days, with the rising of the full moon, he would be a man without status.
    He couldn’t wait.
It felt as if this moment had been too long coming, as if he had been waiting an eternity for it to pass. Pride politics and all the bullshit that came with the territory would cease to exist.
    He would be free.
Cavanaugh leaned his backside against the corner of the black bar, tucking himself away from the lighted area off to his left where Sherry was flirting with another group of young fae as she served them their drinks, twirling her blonde ponytail around her fingers, and Kyter was stomping around looking as if he was chewing a wasp. Hard. The big sandy-haired jaguar shifter had been in a foul mood since his new mate, Iolanthe, had returned to her homeland of the elf kingdom to break the news to her parents. Apparently, Kyter had wanted to go with her, and Iolanthe had wisely decided to go alone. Cavanaugh had overheard her mentioning something about how he had threatened to kill her parents.
He sighed and rolled his shoulders to ease the ache building in them, born of a punishing workout session that had lasted over half a day. The closer he came to the day he had been waiting for, the tenser he became and the only release he had found was unleashing hell on the gym Kyter had set up in the back of the nightclub Cavanaugh called home.
His boss had suggested finding a female to slake his needs, but Cavanaugh wasn’t interested in the women who frequented the club, or their attention. He could probably have his pick, but there was only one woman he wanted in this world.
    His fated mate.
He palmed the right pocket of his black trousers, feeling the wallet there, his thoughts with the faded photograph it contained. The image was seared on his memory, burned there by countless hours spent lying on his bed in his small apartment in the back of Underworld, holding the old picture above him and staring at it.
    Countless hours filled with regret.
Countless hours in which he had wondered how different things might have been.
He was trying to make that difference happen. He was trying to change the paths they had somehow ended up treading and bring them back together.
The methods he had chosen hadn’t been the best, but he couldn’t change things now. He had made his choice and he had lived with it, through the fight that had almost claimed his life to the pain of realising the mistake he had made to the close to five years of separation that had broken part of him.
That part of him had been fractured before he had set in motion the series of events that had brought him to Underworld.
It had been a constant source of pain since that fateful night back at his pride’s village and he had been doing his best to stem the flow of it, feeling as if he was trying to hold back a tsunami with his bare hands. Every night since then, he had patched up his heart as best he could and fought for the strength to keep walking forwards, his eyes fixed on the future he wanted, determined to make it happen.
Determined to turn all the mistakes he had made, and the pain and the loneliness he had endured, into something glorious.
Having his mate in his arms.
A commotion near the entrance of the nightclub off to his left caught his attention and Kyter’s too. Cavanaugh stared beyond the sandy-haired male, trying to catch a glimpse of what was happening. The crowd was too thick, the club jumping tonight, making it impossible to catch anything other than a flash of a tattered grey coat hood and a backpack. It looked as if someone had rolled into the wrong place.
They were dressed for a damned expedition, not a nightclub where most of the patrons wore little and worked up a sweat on the dance floor, and in the shadowy alcoves.
A female flagged him, waving her hand as if he was a slave and she could order him around. Cavanaugh shot her a black look but she persisted, flashing him a come-get-me smile that made him cold inside.
No one could smile as she could.
Her smile lit up the world.
It made even the coldest reaches of his heart warm.
The smile she wore in the picture in his wallet, her arms wrapped around his neck and her rosy cheek pressed against his. She had hurled herself into his arms when her mother had offered to take a photograph of them to test out the camera he had bought for her as a present from his latest trip down the mountain to the nearest big town. He had been gone for a week and gods he had missed Eloise in that time.
Gods he had missed her since fleeing the village five years ago, his pride in tatters but resolve burning in his heart.
Hope that he might be able to carve out the future he wanted, escaping the one he had been born into and forced to accept.
He was about to give up and serve the female still frantically trying to get his attention when the hooded trekker moved closer. His gaze zeroed in on them over the heads of the patrons lining the busy bar.
It was a woman. Average height. A little too thin even with the thick coat. She stumbled into a group of five male demons near the edge of the dance floor off to his left and waved her small hands around, flashing scars that circled her wrists.
When one of the burly demon males lightly pushed her shoulder, barely touching her, she staggered back and almost fell but recovered herself. What was wrong with her?
Was she a homeless person, on drugs, or maybe drunk?
She was unsteady on her feet as she backed away from the demons, heading in Cavanaugh’s direction, towards one group of the thick black columns that rose up on either side of the dance floor to support the high ceiling of the club. The demons followed her, exchanging glances and wicked smiles that made Cavanaugh wonder what the female looked like. Her hood obscured her face, hiding it from him, but he guessed she was pretty because the demons looked as if they wanted to party with her.
She waved her hands again as she moved directly in front of Cavanaugh, clearly trying to deter the males, and he sensed the fatigue rolling off her. Not drunk or on drugs. She had stumbled because she was weak.
His dark grey eyes began to widen.
    He could sense her fatigue?
Her scent hit him hard, knocking him back a step, and he had to grab the edge of the black bar top in front of him to steady himself. He stared at her, unable to take his eyes off her, his head and heart reeling.
    It couldn’t be.
The demons tossed her black scowls when she flashed them something. A small square of paper.
The tallest of the group pointed towards the bar.
    She turned.
    Cavanaugh’s heart stopped.
Wavy dark hair spilled from beneath the hood, the lights from the club playing over the lower half of her face, turning her pale skin different colours as she searched the length of the bar.

The Last Call - Alice Clayton Book Review

From NEW YORK TIMES & USA TODAY bestselling author Alice Clayton, known for her “deliciously addictive” (The Book Vixen) novels, this Cocktail series novella reunites readers with Caroline and Simon from the wildly successful Wallbanger.

Simon and Caroline are back for another round of baking, banging, and big life changes. Settling in, but never settling down, Caroline has finally struck a balance between the professional and the personal. As one of the top interior designers in San Francisco, she travels all over Northern California between nook time with Simon.

Perpetual globetrotter Simon has cut his frequent flyer miles in half over the last year, preferring to balance his professional and personal life, as well.

The next step in their lives seems preordained—toasts, veils, and the aisle of rose petals. But when an accident on a photo shoot in Southeast Asia brings Caroline the most terrifying phone call she could ever imagine, she has to ask whether “till death do us part” is a more realistic prospect than faces most couples.

It’s been a grand adventure, and Caroline and Simon wouldn’t go out without the best surprise ending ever. One part sexy, one part laughter, a dash of exotic locales, and one pink nightie, mixed with passion, and you’ve got Last Call. Served with a side of Clive. - See more at:
    My review
Last Call is a short but delightful novella. The fifth book in this wonderfuly delivered series.
It is a sweet read with a great conclusion and hea for all. So for those who enjoy an ending that will leave you sheepishly grinning and content I am sure you will enjoy this one.

Still lots of hot loving, this author captures her characters and gives them life within the pages.

Caroline and Simon have made that step and are settling into there new found life, but it seems that life is buzy around them .. Friends are getting hitched, having babies ... and we see Caroline looking from the sidelines at what she wants and if Simon has the same thoughts.

Last Call is a great short read, its about finding love, enjoying it , and taking the time to live and enjoy what life offers you .. Including the people in it.

We see many of the characters from previous books in this installment - with a mixture of sweet romance , funny dialogue and characters what you will enjoy .. Fur and all.

Both Simon and Caroline are trying to balance there professional and personal life, as well as living more. We tend to go so immersed in life -   this comes across quiet real.

Simon was his usual self , smexy and down right delightful. He is one of those men we add to our list of book boyfriends.

Caroline has a strength I like to see in female leads - and I have to say I enjoyed her till the end. Reading from her POV also strengths the plot, giving us insight into her thoughts and moments.

Overall I really enjoyed this story,  the storyline was engaging,  no drama  within the story , the characters still very much lovey dovey, banging up a storm ( grins )  and the laughter within was amusing and delightful.

    Loved this quote below.

“That last round was pretty intense. Thanks for being so bendy, by the way.”

This book is the end of the line for this series, showing each of the couples from along the way .

Kyter smiled to himself, feeling a little smug as he snuck up on the female under the veil of darkness. He had made swift work of crossing the moonlit ruins of Herculaneum, not needing to follow her scent to know where he would find her.
He could hear her digging in the room she had been in before, her pick working overtime with strokes that sounded frantic and rushed when compared with the measured ones she had used yesterday. Why was she in a hurry? Because of him?
He stalked silently towards the open door.
When the sun had risen, he had concealed himself in an underground room in the ruins on the opposite side of Herculaneum, as far from her dig site as possible. He had passed the day there, allowing his scent to clear from the area so she would think he was gone. It hadn’t been difficult to remain in one spot all day. He had limitless patience when stalking his prey. He had once waited three days straight to ambush an enemy.
The female had fallen for his ruse and he had caught her scent just five minutes ago as it had drifted down into his makeshift den. She was already hard at work. Either she could conceal her scent, could move extremely quickly, or she had other methods of travelling at her disposal, because he had been on high alert since sunset. He should have picked up her scent the moment she had arrived back at the ruins.
She came into view as his eyes adjusted to the darkness inside the room. She stood with her back to him, her pick coming down hard. Her black combats clung to her backside as she worked, cupping pure perfection and making him a little jealous. He wanted that job. Hell, he wanted to step up behind her, slide his hands around her waist, and play at being her bra by cupping her breasts through her silver-grey camisole.
It was hard, but he managed to resist that urge, knowing it would probably end with him intimately acquainted with the pick she wielded.
Instead of manhandling her, he opted to lean his right shoulder against the doorframe, cross his boots at his ankles and fold his arms across his bare chest, admiring her as she worked.
She had made swift progress with her hole. It was twice as deep as it had been last night and she stood knee-deep in it, her long black hair hanging down her back in tangled ribbons. She muttered to herself in an odd language, one that had a lyrical quality to it. He wasn’t familiar with it, but then that hardly surprised him. Besides fae, the common demon tongue of the seven realms and English, he spoke only broken Portuguese.
There were countless languages in this realm and in Hell that he didn’t know. Hers could be any one of them. He wished he knew what she was speaking though, because it might give him a clue as to her species. Guessing what she was had kept him awake most of the day and had become his favourite way of passing the time since sunset.
Well, guessing her species and replaying how she had sat crouched on his chest, one slender hand pressed against it, branding his skin with her touch as her beauty seared itself on his heart.
Kyter ran a steady gaze down her, slowly taking in her curves. If she turned to face him, would she be as beautiful as he remembered? Would she be as beautiful as she had been in the dreams he’d had whenever he had succumbed to sleep?
Just recalling the lustful visions of making love to her in the room where they had met last night, pinning her against the plastered column as she clung to him, kissing him fiercely as he took her hard and fast, a primal and violent mating, had him filling with need again. He palmed his length as it twitched to life, fighting to tamp down his rising hunger.
He silently drew her scent over his teeth and wanted to growl at her smell and what it did to him. He was instantly rock hard in his combats, straining against the button fly. He crushed the need to growl, unwilling to reveal what he was. He liked keeping her guessing, and almost couldn’t wait for her to notice him and ask him again what he was.
His mixed blood would keep throwing her off his scent.
He had a feeling that despite her age she hadn’t met a jaguar before.
“What do you expect to find in that hole?” he said.
She gasped and whirled to face him, sending her long black hair flaring outwards from her shoulders, her eyes enormous and dark in the low light creeping in from outside the room. The smudge of dirt on her left cheek would have made her look adorable if it weren’t for his gut-deep feeling she was dangerous.
Her green eyes narrowed. “What do you want?”
She went back to her work, as if he wasn’t a threat to her. Nothing for her to worry about. Her acting ability was improving. He knew that he had startled her and he had caught the momentary flicker of self-castigation in her eyes before she had turned her back on him. She was ashamed that he had been able to sneak up on her.
“Go away,” she grumbled, hefted her pick and brought it down harder than before. Taking out her frustration on the ground now?
She could take it out on him if she wanted. He had a perfect way of releasing pent up frustration.
“Not going to happen.” His gaze drifted down her tall frame again, taking in every inch of her. His mate. He still couldn’t quite believe that he had one, or that this female was his. She struck the ground again and spat out something in her strange tongue. He smiled. “There’s nothing down there.”
She paused and glared over her shoulder at him.
His smile broadened. “I found an entrance in another building last night after you left. I figured that maybe you would have known about it… being so old and all.”
Her glare blackened into a scowl and her lips settled into a firm line.
“I know a guy who looks at people that way,” Kyter said and scrubbed a hand around the back of his neck. “It’s not very becoming of a lady though.”
Iolanthe ignored him, nimbly leaped out of the hole, and set her pick down. She leaned forwards and brushed down her black trousers, giving him a wonderful view down her top. Her head snapped up, her accusing glare pointless considering he hadn’t stopped looking at her breasts.
She straightened and stalked towards him, a sway to her hips that had his gaze dropping lower and a smile curving his lips again as he imagined claiming those hips and drawing her against him. She lightly pressed two fingers against his left shoulder.
The world whirled past in a blur of sombre night tones and pain exploded across his back as he slammed into something solid.
He dropped hard and crumpled into a heap, dazed and confused for a split-second before his head cleared and his vision stopped swimming. He grunted and frowned at the pavement beneath him. It wasn’t possible. She had tossed him across the street with only a touch, sending him crashing into the wall.
    What the hell?
He bared his teeth at her and picked himself up, his bones aching from the blow. Bitch. He pressed his hand into his back and arched forwards, cracking his spine back into place, and almost growled when he saw she was already halfway along the narrow paved street.
Kyter stalked after her, swiftly closing in on her. He tamped down his fury with each long-legged stride, determined not to let her get to him and goad him into losing control. He had a plan and he meant to stick to it. Losing his shit was definitely not in the plan, no matter how much he wanted to fight her for what she had just done to him.
“Maybe we should work together.” He tossed her another smile as he came up beside her and she threw him a look that said she was considering tossing him across the road again.
She was more powerful than he had thought. It should have unsettled him, warning him away from her, but all it did was make him want her even more. The thought of fighting her had his blood burning, on fire with a need to tangle with his little kitty.
Of course, his hunger to fight her was probably due to the fact that every battle with her that ran through his head ended in a heated kiss that led to him getting between her legs and her screaming his name in pleasure.
The feel of her gaze on him intensified, ringing bells that warned a fight wouldn’t go the way of his fantasies and it was dangerous to drop his guard around her.
He sidestepped to place some distance between them but didn’t surrender his position beside her.
“I do not require a partner.” She turned her cheek to him and picked up her pace.
He huffed and doubled his, falling back into step with her.
She curled her lip at him and tipped her nose up.
She could pull all the faces she wanted, she was still beautiful to him. Moonlight stole all colour from her skin, threaded her long black hair with silver, and turned her eyes a strange shade of turquoise. She looked even more ethereal and otherworldly, captivating him and making him itch with a need to draw her into his arms and kiss her.
“Come on, we’d be great together.” Because he was her mate and he was sure that once she realised that, she would do as he asked and would hand over the artefact to him.
She was his woman after all.
A niggling voice at the back of his head chastised him for that thought and said that wasn’t how he should treat her, but a stronger voice crushed it, telling him that a jaguar’s female always obeyed her male.
    It was tradition.
“I am not interested in working with you. Go away.” She turned cold eyes on him. “Stop playing at being a treasure hunter. This is my job.”
Kyter stopped dead, clenched his fists to stop himself from grabbing hold of her, and fixed his gaze on the back of her head. She slowed to a halt.
“Playing?” he barked, his voice echoing off the crumbling stone buildings around him, and she spun on her heel to face him in the middle of the ancient road. “This isn’t a goddamned game to me. What I’m after, I need. For me. Not for a fat pay off like you’re after.”
Her eyes widened and then narrowed on him and she took a single step towards him, her fingers flexing and eyebrows dipping low. “You know nothing about my business and my reasons for doing it.”
Kyter stepped up to her, towering over her despite her height, and snarled, “You know fuck all about mine.”
He had to admire her for standing her ground, even when he could smell the acrid scent of fear coming off her.
She breathed hard, her pulse beating fast in his ears, and looked torn between punching him and walking away.
    And possibly kissing him.
The muscle in his jaw popped as he ground his teeth, holding her gaze and refusing to give an inch. Silence stretched between them, thick with a collision of desire and anger.
The breeze picked up, filling the tense silence with the soft sway of the cypress trees that surrounded the site. It stirred the dust, lifting it into the air, dampening the scents that swirled around him. Including hers. He wanted to breathe deeper to catch a stronger thread of it again and take her into him, making her a part of him.
Her lips parted and his eyes dropped to them, a fierce hunger to claim them sweeping through him, threatening to obliterate his anger and leave only desire behind. He clenched his jaw again, refusing to let that happen. She had overstepped the mark and he was damned well going to let her know it.
She lowered her head, stepped back, and whispered, “This is not a game to either of us.”
She turned away and he reached for her, coming close to catching her arm before his hand fell to his side and he let her walk away. It wasn’t a game to her either. What the hell was that supposed to mean?
She made it to the end of the street ten metres ahead of him before he could no longer resist the need to pursue her. He had to give chase. The more she walked away from him, the more fired up he became, driven by a need to hunt her. He couldn’t deny that primal instinct.
He stalked her through the dark moonlit streets, his thoughts caught on the words she had whispered. Whispered. She hadn’t spoken them with her usual confidence. Had the cause of the fear he had detected in her been because of something other than him?
    Did she fear her client?
She had refused to speak of her client to the demon she had met. Kyter hadn’t thought anything of it at the time, but he did now.
He hurried after her and caught up with her as she reached an open area that had gone to patchy grass, lined by broken white columns.
“You need my help,” he said and she did something unexpected.
She laughed, mocking him with the rich sound. “You think you can waltz in and do what… exactly?”

Books in the Eternal Mates paranormal romance series:

    My review !

Kyter is a mixed breed, part jaguar and part demon. He is kickarse like all Felicty' male leads and headstrong which I love. He has spunk and attitude but deep beneath his tough exterior lies a male with depth and soul. Torn and conflicted emotions bombard Kyter and we see his hard exterior melt away.

Iolanthe is  a strong female character. Sassy, fearless and certainly  not perfect but  not a woman to be reckoned with.

A common goal has brought them together but they certainly get more then they ever expected.
Once again Felicity creates a strong solid plot with intriguing characters. We are swept along within the pages enjoying the vivid details both emotionally and physically along the way.

Her world - building is once again well portrayed and put forth. Taking us to a place in which is easily envisaged and enjoyed.

Kyter and Iolanthe have chemistry and pull that is undeniable. As always this authors male leads are smexy as , and ooze lots of  sex appeal to not just the reader but the heroine .

We see characters from Previous book pop in within this story, this I enjoyed much so.

Hunter by A Jaguar is a sweet and spicy paranormal buffet for all romance reader who like there reads hot and there characters charismic. A well delivered story with a solid plot I am sure every reader will enjoy this new installment in this authors series.
