Review.

Pulse was heartwarming, heartbreaking, smexi-liscious , and totally un-put-down-able.

This book and this series had me hook line and sinker.. I enjoyed both books so much I don't know which one I enjoyed the most.. Both stories giving the reader everything they want plus more.

This story is about woman who gains the courage to leave an abusive relationship, who finally takes that step and believes that she is worthy to be loved. To take a risk and go for something that she really wants. To gain strength at her weakest moments and thunder on ..

I really enjoyed seeing Emily's path to gaining strength. She was such a damaged character but so very strong at the same time. We see her character grow within the two stories. As a reader - I think this gives the story depth and certainly depth. We can relate to her thoughts and feelings as the author gives us such vivid details we feel along the way.

Gavin is a strong character and this his a story about a man who will not give up on what he wants, someone who he believes is his true love. An alpha male who will go to any extent to love and protect .. True love <3

Both learn to love, protect, forgive and trust - and along the way gain the strength that's needed. To love and be loved.

Pulse picks up right where Collide ended. We begin with Emily as she follows through on her decision to leave scumbag - Dillon. And in search of the one man she cant stop thinking about. Gavin.

The two boys are so very different, while Dillion is a dick - Gavin is the absolute opposite a night in shining armour. The contrast between the two definitely make the story. We love to hate one and love to love one..

The chemistry between Gavin and Emily is like a volcano , filled to the brim with hotness that will not only ignite your loins but the pages (( haha-)) The car scene - * smoking hotness** ..

FAV QUOTE 'S

“No… I’m not fucking you tonight, Emily Cooper. Kill me if you want, but I’m going to slowly possess you until you can’t take it anymore. My fingers are going to trace every beautiful hidden line on your body. My lips are going to caress, nourish, and feed every unsated inch of you.”

“We were written for one another, and I wouldn’t change one line our romance novel. The good, the bad, the in between. It’s ours. We own it.”

** Pulse is a love story between to people , a rocky road to each other but a certainly a love that is undeniable.
.
Gail McHugh has a way with words, she captures your heart, draws you into the pages and leaves you in pure bliss at the HEA ... I sighed contently and placed the book down being content with the way in which it ended. **

Thank you to Simon & Schuster Australia for supplying me with this book for my honest review.
