A 2012 Readers' Choice Awards Finalist in Romantic Suspense!

A woman without a past…

After a tragic accident left her with no memory, Kate Alexander struggled to fit in with a husband and world that didn’t feel right. She’s had no reason to question what friends and family have told her, not until her husband is suddenly killed and she finds a photo of a young girl in his office. A girl who can’t be anyone but a daughter Kate didn’t know she had.

A man desperate for a reason to live…

Ryan Harrison lost his wife in a plane crash five years ago. To cope with the pain of her loss, he dedicated himself to his job and to raising their daughter. Now a successful pharmaceutical executive, Ryan has everything a man could want—money, fame and power—but he’d give it all up in a heartbeat for just one more day with the woman he still loves.

Two lives about to converge.

As Kate begins to dig into a past she doesn’t remember, evidence leads her to San Francisco and puts her on the path toward Ryan, a man who sees in her the woman he loved and lost. Kate feels a draw to Ryan, one she can’t explain, but is that feeling enough to convince her this is where she’s supposed to be? As Ryan and Kate search for answers, they uncover lies long buried, a passion hotter than either expected and a danger that threatens…even now…when the second chance they’ve both been searching for is finally within reach.

MY REVIEW

A big thank you to Elizabeth for this free read via amazon.

I was hooked, line and sinker within this story - I read this in one sitting and just couldn’t put it down. Reading into the wee hours of the morning, I had to find out where this story went. They whys, whose and who done it for sure and of course if we got our happily ever after.

An alluring contemporary romance that will grasp at your heart strings have you hanging off the edge of your seat, gasping at other moments and also teary eyed for all those who are emotional readers.

We are taken on a rollercoaster ride in *Wait for me *. It's filled with romance, twists and turns that will have you wandering and somewhat surprised !!!

Action, murder, sizzling and hot loving and many are moments that are certainly UNPREDICTABLE ~~

The storyline is well paced, engaging and I being the reader just couldn’t put it down! At 330am - I sighed and closed my reader, utterly content but still wired after a suspenseful yet compelling read.

The angst between the characters, the love, and the overall storyline was a humdinger!

I have to say I enjoyed all the characters, the witty comments at times, the love, the romance and overall everything within these pages!

I thoroughly enjoyed it and must say it’s one of the best Contemporary reads I’ve read for 2012 ~~~

This is my first story I have read from this author and it certainly won’t be my last!

She delivers a suspenseful storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat, your reader on fire, just wanting to read quicker to find out how the story pans out...

My Review for Midnight Rider.

REVIEW DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS.

To Bernadette Barron, Eduardo Cortes was her enemy. A noble count with a huge ranch, in the outback Texas.

For years Bernadette burned for Eduardo, with is penetrating eyes and handsome good looks, she never once let him know her true feelings even though she agrees to wed him.

A marriage of necessity yet filled with desire and a longing she never knew existed. Not only does Eduardo bring out the woman in Bernadette but a fire they both can’t deny and extinguish.

I really enjoyed this wonderfully created Historical Romance, with characters that you can relate to and real to life qualities of them written throughout the pages.

The vivid descriptions of the outback, gives the reader a place to be, the descriptions of the characters and their feelings let us , as the reader know how they are feeling. I personally as a reader like to feel and see as I read along and Diana have certainly done this within these pages.

This book will give you a few laughs, sigh. Gasps and ahhhhhh ‘ s and a storyline that will certainly keep you attention piqued until you have turned that last page.

Bernadette knows that there marriage is a bargain, to save Eduardo Cortes ranch in return for a Titled husband. She has loved Eduardo from afar and even though she hates the thought of marriage and babies she marries him to quell her father’s desire to wed her to just anyone.

Bernadette is not only aware of her desire for Eduardo but the changes he makes within her. He is truthful to her and admits that it will be marriage of conveyance and not love, but they both can’t deny the lust and chemistry that takes places between them.

Bernadette Barron isn’t healthy as most character s we read about, she is flawed yet strong willed and certainly determined and forth coming. She has a strong constiution and is determined either way to marry and be rid of her father’s meddling.

I really enjoyed her character – a woman who stands up for herself despite the odds and I liked her sass at times throughout the story.

Eduardo was a sexy Texan – what was not like about him !

The chemistry between them was explosive – and captivating. For all those who like their historical romances sensual and a little steamy at times this is for you !

We see real to live sequences happening within the storyline, relatives that can’t help but, stick their nose in, regrets, words and circumstances that change along the way as the characters realize there flaws.

An enjoyable sensual romance that will have you eager to get to the end and sigh at a wonderfully delivered storyline and ending. !

I love the Australian cover for this book = I have to say I have a thing for sexy cowboys ! lol.

Thank you to Harlequin for supplying me with this book for review for my honest opinion.

This book was a two story in one. Midnight Rider and Regan's Pride.

Review for Regan's Pride.

Regan’s Pride was one of those reads that you enjoy , yet find it hard to enjoy certain aspects of a character. Ted was an older male concerned that Corie would follow in his parents footsteps. Fall for an older man than leave him for a newer model. So he pushes her into the arms of a younger man.

After all that poor Corie had gone through she still suffers at Regan’s verbal abuse. However, despite his aloof ness – rude comments I loved the way Corrie and Ted still had the chemistry.

Corie slowly regains her confidence and becomes more of her own person as time goes by. The way in which the author has put forth her heeling is perfect and in the end I feel that Ted redeemed himself in more ways than one.

I didn’t enjoy Ted’s character through most of the story – However As the reader I could see why he was acting so.. But …. None the less don’t condone it.. He treated Corie very callously and bad most of the time. But never physically hurt her. This was his way of keeping her away from him, despite the way in which he really felt.

This part I didnt enjoy in the story !

Ted is one of those male characters you love to hate. The chemistry between him and Corie was smoking and as a reader I wanted to slap him silly for his way of thinking. !

The vivid descriptions in the story make it a wonderful setting for the story. Its short yet filled with romance, lies, deceit and that happily ever after.

I felt the storyline progressed well till the ending. It ended a little fast for me. However as the reader the ending was well put forth.

A fluent flowing storyline filled with some wonderful characters that I’m sure you will enjoy an arrogant Texan – however still very sexy( despite his pig headed attitude and smart mouth ) and a romantic ending that all us lovey dovey readers enjoy!
