Wisdom Tree - Mary Manner Book Review & Tour

Welcome to the Tour for Mary Manners. Her Book Wisdom Tree. Find as follows The book cover, blurb, My review and Author Bio for Mary. I must say its always a pleasure to read Mary's book, inside every book is a message.

Sometimes the last thing we think we need is exactly what God has planned.

After the death of his parents, Jake Samuels has enough on his plate—including a fledgling church to lead and a mischievous younger brother to raise. The last thing he needs is a rambunctious woman to contend with.

Carin O'Malley is dealing with the death of her brother and a new job as an English teacher at East Ridge Middle School where Corey Samuels reigns as King of Chaos. The last thing she needs is to fall in love with a man...especially a handsome and complicated preacher like Corey’s brother Jake.

But when Corey's antics toss Carin and Jake together, the two must draw from God’s wisdom to find refuge in His perfect plan for them.

My Review

Mary Manners always put forth a compelling read. Filled with faith, hope and prayers that is blended throughout her stories.

Wisdom Tree is filled with Christian beliefs, romance, heartbreak, loss, friendship and faith.

Carin, Corey and Jake have all lost loved ones. Corey - 13 years old and heartbroken is not taking the death of his parents well, and his brother Jake - pastor of the local church is now trying to be a parent and big brother and finding it very hard. He leans on his faith to get him through hoping that in time Corey will be able to believe, move on and be a happier 13 year old boy.

Jake meets Carin - her faith is troubled - she too has lost loved ones, and is feeling very sombre and alone. With the help of love, and friendship Jake, Carin and Corey follow the path of God - to find happiness and a happily ever after they never thought possible in there time of grieving.

Guilt lies and betrayal can have someone questioning their faith, but being around the right people, can lead you to a little ray of sunshine.

Mary Manners always put forth a wonderfully scripted story, filled with the belief of God, and what he does and can do ... when you follow his path. Even if - he may take your loved ones from you.

I don’t find that Mary pushes the religious points in her stories; they are heart-warming and may even have you sitting back and wandering to yourself as well. I dont read alot of this genre but always Enjoy Mary's stories.

The characters were heartfelt and very realistic in life, the struggles in life when you lose someone close, the ups and downs that life throws at you and believing life has more to offer.

The dialogue flowed smoothly, and the meaning of this book well outlined and felt. Overall I really enjoyed this book ;) and would recommended to any who enjoys a  sweet romantic read filled with a little Wisdom of its own.

Rating  - -4/5
