WELCOME TO THE TOUR FOR BLOOD SPIRIT THE THIRD BOOK IN GARBIELLE BISSET'S SONS OF NAVARUS SERIES !! CHECK OUT THE HOT SMOKIN COVERS ABOVE !!!! and below the interview , book cover and blurb for her latest release.

Today I have Gabrielle here to answer a few questions and also flaunt her new cover and book.

Blood Spirit

The Sons of Navarus series continues...

I am everything you seek. I am vampire.

Blessed with the gift of telepathy, Terek always knows what a woman wants. His gift has afforded him nightly sensual pleasures and exotic treats for centuries, but beneath the surface he yearns for much more.

Ilona can give him what his soul craves, but only if he trusts his heart. One fateful choice made out of desire puts all he cares for in danger. With a civil war and the threat of Archon hunters at every turn, this Son may lose everything if he can't find the balance between heart and mind.

Author Interview.

Tell me a little about yourself.
I live in Pennsylvania with my teenage son and a herd of cats.  The boy is good, but those cats are downright bossy. I'm a college history teacher by day, but by night I write erotic romance, usually paranormal, but I also do BDSM and historical.
·       What inspired you to write this series ?

I wrote a novella in 2011 called Vampire Dreams and from the minute the character of Vasilije came onto the page, I couldn't shake him. When the book was released and readers felt the same way about him, especially asking when he'd be getting his own book, I knew I had something there. So the Sons of Navarus grew out of Vasilije.

·       Are Vampires your favourite Paranormal creature and why ?

Vampires are my favorite paranormal creature because they're so sensual. Everything about them is sexy, especially how focused they are on the mouth. It's all very primal and earthy.

·       How many books do you have planned for this series ?

There are eight Sons of Navarus all wanting their stories told, but I was asked the other day if there would be spin-offs. I'm not ruling anything out as of yet, but I have no firm plans concerning that now.

·       How many have you currently written and have released ..

Vampire Dreams Revamped, which is the official prequel to the Sons series, along with Blood Avenged, Blood Betrayed, and now the newest release, Blood Spirit.

Here's the blurb for a little sample of it:

I am everything you seek. I am vampire.

Blessed with the gift of telepathy, Terek always knows what a woman wants. His gift has afforded him nightly sensual pleasures and exotic treats for centuries, but beneath the surface he yearns for much more.

Ilona can give him what his soul craves, but only if he trusts his heart. One fateful choice made out of desire puts all he cares for in danger. With a civil war and the threat of Archon hunters at every turn, this Son may lose everything if he can't find the balance between heart and mind.

·       Do you do your own covers (( they are hot ))

No, I wish I had the graphic arts skills needed to make covers. Talina Perkins does my covers for me, and I have to tell you I love them!

·       What are the most important elements of good writing ? According to you what tools must you have ?

I think one of the most important things a writer must have is experience. Just living life gives a person so much to write about.  As for the technical and mechanical parts of writing, I think a writer must have a strong grasp of the English language. Stories communicate a writer's ideas, but if a writer is poor with grammar, they're poor with communication. The good news is that grammar isn't something impossible to learn. It's quite easy, but it takes work. In today's world with blogs and so many things an author must do to be in the public, it's not an option to rely on editors to correct grammar issues. Sure, their books will be good, but their public writing will be a disaster. Again, thankfully, grammar isn't difficult to master.

·       Have any books or authors influenced what you write ?

As an undergrad in college, I was an English major so I was able to study the greats in literature. I think that affects me in everything I do, not just my writing. Those authors stay with you long after you close the book.
·       What is your writing process do you follow a routine ?

I home school my son in the morning and teach college students in the afternoon, so I have to write at night. To be honest, I'm a night owl, so it works. I hand write everything first, so my writing takes far more time than others. I write every day, no matter what, and I edit as I write. That's what years of being an editor in the academic world does to a writer. :)

·       Did you or have your learnt anything writing your books ?

Writing forces me to be more organized. I'm a plotter, so I outline everything before I begin a book. But even that's not enough when an author has to promote at the same time as write, so organization is key.

·       What do you find the hardest part about writing, do you ever suffer writers block ?

For me, the hardest part about writing is keeping focused when everything else around me needs to be done. Once I sit down and focus, it usually goes well. I've suffered from writer's block, but for me, that's a sign I need to walk away from what I was attempting and let it be for a while. It will happen. It's just a matter of time.
·       Any advice to future writers ?

Know everything you can before beginning. Study the structure of stories, master the art of writing, and then it's a matter of telling your story. Don't rush it. This isn't fast food. Let the story flow from you naturally and when it's right, it will come.

·       How long have you been writing for, and have you always written ?

When I was in middle school, my friends and I used to write screenplays for tv shows. One can only hope they were shredded. But we loved what we were doing. After that, I began writing my own stories, but it wasn't until after undergrad and grad school, getting married and having children, and then settling into my job that I really felt like I was ready to do something more than just write and put the notebook in a drawer.

·       If you could have dinner with anyone – dead or alive who would it be and why ?

Now you get to see the real nerd in me. I write erotic romance, but if I could have dinner with anyone (other than the adult crushes I have now...) I think I'd choose Alexander Hamilton. See? Nerd. In my mind, the most interesting of the Founding Fathers, Hamilton was politically brilliant, in addition to being extraordinarily manipulative.  Much of American history in those early days of our country revolves around him and his beliefs.  Sorry. Now back to my much cooler erotic paranormal romance author ways. :)
