My One True Love by Stephanie Taylor *Book review*

Love or Commitment, ask yourself which you would choose?  That carrot diamond ring, or a ring, the one you loved worked, and sweated 12 months for  to buy you?  A commitment that led you, to  lead the career you wanted, live in a busy city, to be surrounded by someone you care for deeply or someone that left that mark on your heart? My One True Love is a Romance filled with passion and an undying love that span over 7 years. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, but when your one true love has never left your heart, what does this mean?

I was lucky enough to have been given Stephanie's book * My One True Love * to review.. and I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Being a true romantic at heart- despite the fact that my other half is not, I love to delve into mushy romances that makes my toes curl, and my heart flutter, to be left with a sigh or pure contentment.

Book Blurb

Love or contentment. What would you choose?

Seven years ago, Liz Henley left her fiancé without a backward glance to live a bigger life anywhere but in Oakley. Now she's back, with a new fiancé, ready to tie the knot on Valentine’s Day in the town she grew up in. But one thing stands in her way: her first true love, Jason Kenyon.

Jason Kenyon has never really gotten over Liz, but he doesn't let that stop him from being the best park ranger he can be. When he sees the body of a female go sailing past him during an avalanche, he doesn't think twice about trying to rescue her. It isn't until they're both back at Jason's cabin that he realizes the body is none other than his almost-wife, Liz.

Torn between his love for Liz and his duty to return her, Jason has to make a decision. Does he take her back to her new fiancé or fight with all his might to get back the woman he never stopped loving?

Review -
Liz moved away 7 years ago to fulfill her dreams, her career, and a life she thought she wanted. She was determined to not be like her mum , not to be miserable in the small town of Oakley and let her life waste away. Liz has returned to Oakley to marry, she heads up into the mountains to clear her head, and evaluate her life further, forget Jason and move on or come to terms with her true hearts desires.  Everything does not go as planned Liz is  bombarded by an avalanche and swept into the arms of her ex-fiance..

Jason Kenyon is everything that Liz always wanted, she loved him, but was not willing to give up her life for him to be stuck in Oakley not achieving her goals in life.  Fate has lead them back to each other, will their destiny be filled or bring more heartache?

Jason Kenyon is a lumberjack whilst chopping wood hears the oncoming cracks of snow and ice and finds  the nearest tree clinging for life during the avalanche. Hoping down from his safety he  discovers a body amongst the snow, his instincts tell him to save her, he carries her back to his log cabin and then realizes this woman he has saved, is the Love of his life  - Liz.  Liz had left Jason broken hearted  one night 7 years ago with  no note, no excuses , no reasons for leaving. This is where the turmoil begins. He has questioned he wants answered...

In an unconscious confession, Liz in her feverish state after knocking her head, confesses her undying love for Jason. Jason  being bull headed and arrogant, fuels Liz's fire by provoking her and toying with her, really deep down inside hoping this is their chance at love again. The sparks and passion are still strong   between them but whether or not Liz will let her true feelings show, will determine both their fates with love.

Oh my,,, ** heart fluttering ** this was one Romantic , lovey dovey story... yes I am a romantic at heart, I really enjoy a great love story filled with such passion for each other it would melt the ice tips of Mount Everest !!! or the glaciers at Antarctica..

The passion, and love between Liz and Jason was sensual and loving. At times, a love to hate relationship, Liz bull headed, stubborn and selfish in her ways and Jason being able to turn Liz from a Lamb into a Lion *(Quote from book ) in seconds. Jason was your ideal ** swoon ** hotty  material - tall , muscular and handsome guy  even with the goat appearance- facial hair, (( grins )) his spunk and humour was mesmerizing. He knew how to stir Liz up and also how to fuel her fire, leave her feeling cranky one minute and in love the next.

The story was filled with heartfelt memories and moments, love and companionship, love that didn't wilter over time. This part I really liked, the fact that money cant buy love, or happiness only your One True love can truly make you happy.

The storyline was fluent, chapters flowed freely and storyline  intriguing, never a lull moment, being only a short read it was filled with all the goodies you need for a good quick love story.
One that leaves  you feeling warm and fuzzy and happy with the overall ending. The scenery and log cabins, the snow and the fire , I could envisage curled up on the lounge with *The one you love * what better way to read a story or live it.. The emotions portrayed in this book, were sensual and loving, even funny moments that made you giggle. All very  fluent,  and I found that Stephanie was to Able to express oneself readily and effortlessly. This reflecting in her words.

Overall, a wonderful short read, for a cold winters night, hot cocoa in hand and wrapped in the arms of the one you love.. or to enjoy !!! Just because your like me and love a good Romance ..

As far as the lovey dovey factor goes this I give a hot five star rating !!!
